Groov
Groov (2009) is a musical dual-stick shooter where every action has a musical reaction. Nearly every piece of the soundtrack is produced by the player's actions; in turn the gameplay's intensity is dictated by the pacing and structure of the interactive composition.
Created in the second half of 2008 and released in January of 2009 onto Xbox Live Indie Games, Groov has received praise from numerous press outlets like Edge Magazine, 1UP, IGN, and Gamasutra, was nominated for Machinima's 2009 Inside Gaming Award for indie game of the year, and was the General Category winner in the 2009 Yale Innovations in Digital Environments Awards.
